CREATED:
WINDOWS + DOORS: Thirty-two in total, 3D printed front and backs, resin applied and set to depict leaded glass, wire hinges and fully functional.
DECK: Paper painted and cut with a Cricut Machine, individually placed and grouted, then aged to show wear and tear. Inspired by worn marble tile floors.
FOUNDATION: Concrete created by painting a base layer of gray and then adding Golden Acrylic Pumice Gel

FURNITURE: Collected over years, primarily vintage from Miniature shows in Seattle and Vancouver BC, antiquing trips or gifted from family and friends.

FRONT ENTRY HALL
CREATED:
STAIRCASE: Base of the staircase is cut, carved and glued insulation foam covered with spackle, sanded and painted to cover. The treads are “marbled’ polymer clay, 4 colors, shaped per tread and baked. Each spindle is 3D printed in 2 parts, glued and painted and set into place. The railing is 3mm leather cording, the end cap finials are shell beads meant for jewelry making.
FLOORING: Paper painted and cut with a Cricut Machine, individually placed and grouted, then aged to show wear and tear. Inspired by worn tile floors.
COMMISSIONED:
PAINTING : By Seattle based artist (and friend), Guinevere. Mounted on basswood. Stained and petite “nail holes” added for detail.

FORMAL LIVING
CREATED:
CROSS-STITCHED RUG: My first cross-stitched project, started and slowly worked on for 3 years, edges and fringe created by my mom.
FLOORING: Created with coffee-stirrers. Cut and place with multiple patterns including a double herringbone, boarder and wood strip. Stained to finish.
LIGHTING: WALL SCONCE: Thrifted vintage brooch, pin clasp removed and LED pico lights added. FLOOR LAMP: 5 stone beads wired with 2 LED lights to sit on top of a brass hardware bin component, with the black base a painted seal from a liquor bottle. SURFACE MOUNT: Vintage Glass component found while antiquing, securing to the ceiling, includes an LED light.
FIREPLACE: Purchased the piece vintage, created “working fireplace” with sticks from the yard, LED flicker lights in warm white and red and pastels to create ash and wear.
TABLE: Scrap marble from selvage center with 4 aqua beads glued underneath.
MUG: Marbled polymer clay scraps.

DINING
CREATED:
FLOORING: Created with coffee-stirrers. Cut and placed in a double herringbone pattern to meet the floors of the front entry in the same angle. Stained to finish.
FIREPLACE: Mat board, with balsa wood to add details. Stone based created with a layer of gray paint and then adding Golden Acrylic Pumice Gel. “Working fireplace” with sticks from the yard, LED flicker lights in white and red and pastels to create ash and wear.
CHAIRS: Inspired by the Steltman Chair, 3D modeled and printed chairs, glued and painted.

WALL MURAL: By Artist Maggie Grier, Painted over provided 3D printed molding.
SOURCED:
RUG: Vintage hook rug sourced at an antique store on a roadtrip with my mom.
TABLE: Vintage and broken from a miniature show in Seattle. Sanded down, stained and legs glued back together.

CREATED:
WALLPAPER: Silk marbled with acrylic paint and attached to mat board.
FLOORING: Polymer clay cut and baked, then placed and grouted.
SINK: Made from a shell on the Oregon Coast from a trip with friends. Hardware from wire and handles from beads.
POCKET DOOR: From bass wood glued from multiple sizes and painted.

KITCHEN
CREATED:
TILED WALLS: Similar to the floors, paper painted and cut with a Cricut Machine, individually placed. Multiple layers of lacquer then grouted, and aged to show wear and tear.
RANGE BACKSPLASH: Printed countryside landscape, treated similar to tile walls.
FLOORING: Paper painted and cut with a Cricut Machine, individually placed and grouted, then aged to show wear and tear. Inspired by worn tile floors.
CABINETS: Drawn and 3D printed to fit. Countertops out of polymer clay to render marble or carved wood for dish drain.
RANGE + HOOD: La Cornue style file from Etsy, printed and painted, LED light installed in range.
FIREPLACE WALL: Mat board with doors created out of bass wood, fireplace from yard sticks and flickering LED rend and soft white bulbs+ pastels for age. Wood beam aged with steel wool soaked in vinegar.
PENDANT LIGHT: Made from brass tubing, jewelry components, plastic ball and LED bulbs.
DISH DRYING RACK: Made from bass wood and painted.

BANQUET SEATING: Base out of foam core, wrapped with walnut veneer and clear stain added. Seat from foamcore wrapped with a vintage tie.
PENDANT LIGHT: Shells from the Oregon Coast, Bakelite chain necklace, jewelry components, plastic ball and LED bulbs.
FLOORING: Paper painted and cut with a Cricut Machine, individually placed and grouted, then aged to show wear and tear. Inspired by worn tile floors.

MUDROOM
CREATED:
FLOORING: Paper painted and cut with a Cricut Machine, individually placed and grouted, then aged to show wear and tear. Inspired by worn tile floors.
WALL: Boarding created with mat board, scored and torn to create illusion of paneling. Trim from wood. Shaker rail from wood and whittled wood sticks, all painted to match.
DOOR: 3D printed into two panels with color drenched resin to act as stained glass.
STAIRS: Spinals, drawn and 3D printed, glued and spray painted. Stair treads from wood, painted and worn for used look.
LIGHTING: Lamp: created from two beads, a 3D printed shade and an LED light. Outlet and plug created with polymer clay and baked. Surface mount: glass from the lid of a liquor bottle, brass piece from the hardware store, LED lights.

MAIN LANDING
CREATED:
FLOORING: Inlaid with a vintage wood hexagon pin. Main floor of coffee-stirrers. Cut and place with two patterns, boarder and wood strip. Stained to finish.
RAILING: Spindles are 3D printed in 2 parts, glued and painted and set into place. The railing is 3mm leather cording, the end cap finials are shell beads for jewelry.

FLOOR AND WALL TILE: Inspired by Carlo Mollino bathroom. Caned polymer clay. Five clay colors combined in 3/4” tiles, baked, glued and grouted.
TUB: Made from recycled electronics packaging and jewlery supplies. Faucet 3D printed and hose wrapped in wire.
LIGHTING: Sconces made from Jewlery components, plastic spheres and LED lights. Surface mount from clear plastic and LED.
POCKET DOORS: From bass wood glued from multiple sizes and painted.

FIREPLACE: Two tile remnants framing the hearth opening. Black mat board for remainder of fireplace components. “Working fireplace” with sticks from the yard, LED flicker lights in warm white and red and pastels to create ash and wear.
BENCH-SEAT: Frame from foamcore, walnut laminate cut and stained.

PRIMARY BATH / HALL
CREATED:
HALLWAY: Chipboard walls, cut to create a domed alcove and bench seat. Cushion from foam core, wrapped in blue silk. Light created from scrap hardware plastics and painted to match mint walls and LED bulb.
FLOOR: Mat board painted, lines scored and paper peeled off to replicate tile and grout. Sealed with matte mod podge.

SPIRAL STAIRCASE: Styrofoam cut and stacked, covered with joint compound, sanded and aged. Spindles: drawn and 3D printed, glued and spray painted. Hand-railing: Cotton cording stained with tea to age.
RAILING: Spinals, drawn and 3D printed, glued and spray painted.
SCONCE: Vintage brooch, gold paint used to dull the color of the original brooch, two clear acrylic balls added to act as bulbs, with LED bulbs added.
